Make your Freelancing successful #27

First think about

Why most freelancing business fail?

Reason

-          Fail to commit

-          Fail to be consistent

-          Neglecting the Money

-          Lack of perspective

Fail to commit

It is like two careers at the same time.

You have to work and manage your connections also.

Give 110% on every project, every time and make the clients gland that they hired you.

Which makes them want to hire you again.

I fully commit the work that I do and who I do it.

I’m all in!

Fail to be consistent

Don’t be a flaky freelancer.

Flaky freelancer makes it tough,

Maybe they take on projects but don’t deliver as expected. Or,

They overstate their abilities and leave their client scrambling to save a project.

Please don’t ever do this.

Being consistent will help me reach my goal.

I choose to be consistent with every client and project & deliver on time as decided.

Neglecting the Money

Anyone who is thinking about freelancing.

Especially on a full-time basis need to focus on three areas:

1.        Emergency found

2.      Monthly budget

3.      Earning Goal

Another overlooked reality for new freelancer is the time it takes between invoicing a client and getting paid.

This lag time can become stressful and problematic if you don’t correctly prepare financially.

Lack of perspective

Freelancing can sometimes feel like you’re working in a vacuum, primarily if you work remote.

It’s very different from working in an office. You can’t drop in on others to clarify questions or project requirements.

This can make it tempting to focus on your perspective and easy to lose sight of your client’s perspective.

I never forget that I’m creating the work for someone else.

So, I always stay focused on meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.

How you can be successful

When you know what failures can occur,

You can also work to avoid them.

-          Practical strategies.

-          Choose to commit

Make a conscious choice to commit to your success and that of you clients.

By doing your best work for them, you’re doing your best to work for yourself.

Create a freelance business plan to guide the business aspects of your effort and give structure to your freelancing endeavors.

-          Choose to be consistent

Just like committing, consistency is a choice.

Consistently give each client and project your best efforts.

-          Crunch the money

Before you even get started. Make sure that the money “adds up.”

You’ll be glad that you to feel more secure and in control moving forward.

-          Choose to be consistent

Take time to consider your client’s point of view.

There are counting on you and your work to meet their expectations and goals.

Put yourself in their shoes, so to speak, to gain insight and understanding.

Let this insight and perspective guide you and the project to success for you client.
